The principal, Mr. James Meredith, of Lansdale Catholic High School announced on September 27, 2023 that Ava Satterthwaite ‘24 (Mary, Mother of the Redeemer) has been named a Commended Student in the 2024 National Merit Scholarship Program. Congratulations to Ava on this prestigious accomplishment!
About 34,000 Commended Students throughout the nation are being recognized for their exceptional academic promise. Commended Students placed among the top 50,000 students who entered the 2024 competition by taking the 2022 Preliminary SAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test.

Attention 8th Grade Families! Are you ready to schedule a Shadow Day?


The Shadow Day experience allows an eighth grader or potential transfer student to spend a day with a current LC student. Eighth-grade visitors are paired with freshmen. Visitors will be able to meet our teachers and engage in conversations about the sports teams, clubs, and countless well-respected programs such as STEM and Fine Arts. The LC Shadow Program will begin for 8th graders on September 25 and will continue throughout the rest of the school year.  Click to learn more.
